I started blogging about a month ago - I am a total newbie! From googling and reading other posts I have learned a great deal. Here are some tips:
1. Create a blog button. I learned how to do it by googling the steps. I used the online photo editor Pixlr to create the button. Once you have it the way you like it, upload the file to an online photo sharing website to access the HTML code.
2. The Organized Classroom blog is a great resource. Charity offers blogging tips. Scroll down on her homepage and click on her Fairy Blogmother button. I paid ($5.95) for tutorials on using Powerpoint and Word to create teaching materials.
3. If you make a comment on another person's blog, see this post from More Time To Teach. Melissa will show you how to add a link back to your blog by typing in some HTML code :)
