About Me...
I am a Special Education Preschool Teacher and I have been teaching for about six years (Wow!!! time flies!). I currently live in Brooklyn, New York with my husband and cat, Zeke. Brooklyn is where it all began many moons ago. My great grandparents immigrated to Bay Ridge, Brooklyn from Italy. So where ever I go and where ever I end up Brooklyn will always be a part of me :)
When not teaching (and before I was pregnant when I had a lot more energy), I love to practice yoga, bake, read and create things - my latest craze is the mandala - I love beads, stamps and color!

So where is this all going?
I have been on summer vacation for about three weeks now and my ideas for my blog are developing and morphing the more I delve into the blogging world. As I am expecting my first child, I know that I won't be going back full time into my own classroom for at least one year. The question I have been pondering: How can I stay current, passionate and involved in what I love? The answer: BLOG!!
I have spent a good deal of the last few days reading various blogs, getting inspired and waking up thinking about all of this!! First off, technology and I are becoming friends fast! The blogging world is a wonderful community I feel fortunate to have found and am excited to be a part of!

ReplyDeleteI wanted to reach out to you to find out if you had seen the Gripcase yet. Gripcase (www.gripcase-usa) has developed a fantastic iPad case that is lightweight and easy to handle particularly for kids but also protects the iPad so that teachers, parents...and really anyone...can use the iPad fearlessly! It is getting a lot of positive feedback from schools and is in over 100 schools now across the country. I am a mother of 4 myself, two of whom have some special needs. I loved our own Gripcase so much, I'm now helping them spread the word so that more families can discover this product and, therefore, make better use of technology for their kids.
